About
These are two beautifully converted, traditional barns sitting side by side in a serene spot in the northwest corner of the New Forest National Park. Ash Barn and Oak Barn sleep a maximum of 12 guests (6 guests in each barn) in a mix of king-size doubles and twin-bedded rooms – two of the doubles are on the ground floor. Inside, the barns are identical, with double-height ceilings and galleried landings, which make for bright, spacious living areas with recliner chairs and toasty wood burners for out-of-season breaks. You’ll also find additional sitting rooms on the mezzanine level. In summer, fling open the sets of oak-framed French doors onto south-facing gardens, with a hot tub for each barn and comfortable lounging and dining furniture.
The location is absolutely beautiful, being surrounded by fields of donkeys, sheep and ponies which are often fed by visitors - who leave rave reviews about how wonderful their barn holidays have been. There’s a popular and historic foodie pub within easy walking distance, with plenty more close by. And there are plenty of shops for provisions in the town of Fordingbridge, which is just 3 miles away. Enjoy countryside walks from your doorstep, and a long list of great attractions are within a 30-minute drive.
