In celebration of the summer, The Ivy Winchester Brasserie has collaborated with Winchester Distillery, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy a series of new cocktails and a beautiful botanical terrace.
Those visiting the brasserie until Sunday, 1 September are able to enjoy four refreshing, bespoke cocktails, perfect for the warmer months. Created by the restaurant's expert bar team, each creation features one of Winchester Distillery's hand-crafted premium spirits, including their limited-edition Summer Garden Gin.
Tantalising cocktails include the Summer Crumble (£9.75), made with Winchester Dry Gin, Briottet Rhubarb, cranberry bitters, lemon juice, hibiscus syrup, egg white, homemade gooseberry syrup and topped with edible flowers, and the Hillier Bramble (£9.50), incorporating Twisted Nose Gin, lemon juice, berry shrub and simple syrup, garnished with fresh blackberries and a fresh mint sprig. The Winchester Cup (£10.50), features Summer Garden Gin and sweet vermouth topped with ginger ale, and finally, the refreshing Berry Shrub Spritz (£10.50), includes Summer Garden Gin and berry shrub, topped with a splash of Ivy Champagne and garnished with fresh blackberries and raspberries.
In keeping with the theme, the brasserie's terrace and entrance has also been updated with lush green foliage and hints of gold, creating a botanical, al fresco escape for guests to enjoy in the heart of Winchester.
For cocktail lovers, on Wednesday, 28 August, The Ivy Winchester Brasserie will be hosting a special gin pairing evening in collaboration with Winchester Distillery. Held in the restaurant's beautiful private dining room, The Buttercross Room, guests will be able to enjoy a three-course meal, each paired with a delicious cocktail, as well as a talk from Winchester Distillery's Brand Ambassador. Priced at £68.00 per person.
