Zoom through the stars on an exciting flight through the Solar System. Take a seat in the breathtaking Planetarium and discover the secrets of the skies above us during a presenter-led live show. 

The Planetarium Experience is an opportunity to visit us for a Planetarium only adventure. Doors open at 5pm and there will be time to grab a drink or snack from the cafe before settling in for an adventure you'll never forget. The 35 minute show starts at 5:25pm. 

Get set for the biggest journey you’ll ever make! Let’s begin at home on Earth. Sit back and relax under a blanket of stars. Don’t get too comfortable though as you’ll soon be whisked into space on an awesome adventure to discover more about our Solar System. Explore the stars and planets above us and discover more about them from an expert Planetarium pilot. What secrets will you uncover in the skies above us? 

The Planetarium Experience is part of our After Dark evening events. Other dates are available. Please be aware that all of our Planetarium shows can be viewed by every age group and are not quiet shows.

Your Planetarium Experience ticket includes:

• A flight through the stars in The Planetarium
• An opporutnity to purchase drinks and snacks from the cafe

Please note that there will be no access to the exhibiton floors during this event. 

Accessibility information for The Planetarium Experience

The Planetarium is accessible so everyone can have a special experience here. Every show is relaxed with quiet and calm presentations. It's not super dark and you can move around, go out and come back in if you like. If you have a wheelchair, we have spaces for you to sit with seats for your family and friends. The stairs have lights to make them easy to see.
