Christchurch Christmas Festival is a wonderful community celebration of Christmas, our town and our families. This year our festival is brought to you by a dedicated committee of volunteers, without these willing workers we may not have had a festival. Added to this you the public make this event a success; your participation, support and enthusiasm make the festival a success, together we make this happen!
Events include:
The Festive Alpine Bar 11.00am - 10.00pm
Alpine seasonal drinks, Hot Chocolates, mulled wine, local mulled cider, german beers, Live Music and much much more
Christmas Street Market 10am - 7pm
Christmas High Street market- various christmas and artisan stalls offering gifts, hot food and drink
Christmas Festival Craft Fair 10am - 6.30pm
A fantastic event hosted at The Christchurch Priory with original hand crafted gifts by local artisans and artists
Santa's Grotto & Lapland Post Box
Open from 11.00am, meet Santa after 5pm
Live Entertainment 10.30 - 6.30pm
An array of choirs, musicians and bands will be performing throughout the day
Father Christmas Procession starts at 4.30pm
Procession starts at 4.30pm from the High Street to his fantastic Grotto in Saxon Square
The big switch on at 6.00pm from the Mayors Parlour with special guests
