About
Good shopping is guaranteed at Festival Place, a vibrant 1.1m sq ft shopping centre in the centre of Basingstoke, just off the M3. The ideal destination for easy, everyday shopping, Festival Place is also somewhere to visit for special occasions and fun family days out.
It’s somewhere people can come to relax, socialise, workout, eat and shop – and everyone at the centre loves welcoming new visitors and catching up with local, loyal customers.
Over the past few years, the Festival Place team has been working hard to attract more big brand names in both retail and dining. Since 2015, 27 new stores have opened and footfall has increased by more than two million, taking the annual total to more than 22 million customers.
Whether it’s technology, entertainment, fashion or food, Festival Place has everything you need under one roof.
It’s home to more than 160 big name stores, including Jack Wills, Next, Fat Face, Marks & Spencer, Apple, H&M, Zara, New Look, Debenhams, Pandora and Swarovski.
A wide range of restaurants, cafes and bars makes Festival Place an appealing destination for foodies, whether it’s for a romantic dinner, a business lunch, evening drinks, or a coffee and catch-up with friends.
There are more than 20 mouth-watering eateries, from the French Cote Brasserie to the Japanese Kokoro and The Sushi Maki, as well as firm favourites Nando’s, Wagamama, Pizza Express and Pret.
Equally popular as a leisure destination, Festival Place is home to a 10-screen Vue multiplex cinema with luxury reclining leather seats in every screen. There is also a fitness, leisure and sports complex spread over seven floors, the fun Flip Out trampoline park, and a community library.
But Festival Place isn’t just about shopping and dining – from stylish fashion showcases to art installations, workshops and student takeovers, there is an exciting calendar of events for brilliant family days out throughout the year.
The centre’s great foodie credentials are underlined at the famous annual Eat Street food festival, which sees live cooking demonstrations from big names in the food community and delicious samples from our food and beverage retailers.
It’s easy to reach, too. The bus station is on the doorstep and the train station just a five-minute walk away. The centre is just minutes off Junction 6 of the M3, and the car park is nearing the end of a multi-million-pound refurbishment project which has given it an impressive facelift, both internally and externally.
